Release Reminder: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Chicago" by Alex Young

In case you forgot, this Saturday, May 30, Michael Jordan's first-ever Air Jordan will bless shelves across the world. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Chicago" will return in its original form just as it did 30 years ago, beginning with the colorway: white, black, and University red. Much to sneakerheads' delight the sneaker will feature a red Nike Air tag on the tongue, Air Jordan's black winged branding, and no Jumpman logo on the back heel like the 2013 release. The OG aesthetic carries over into packaging as the "Chicago" Ones will come unlaced, a nod to MJ's last game as a Bull. Today, Nike's Roshe Run Knit Jacquard White/Cool Grey trumps the previous shoe for its intriguing look. Breathability and comfortability are placed at the forefront of the Roshe Run; the model at hand sports a knitted mesh jacquard upper with a gradient, zebra-like white and grey colorway. Here is the kicker, the sneaker is a women's exclusive release. Air Jordan 7 Retro 'Hare' by Alex Young

Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny's beautiful friendship began in Nike's 1992 Super Bowl commercial for the Air Jordan 7 'Hare'. The popularity of MJ and the Looney Tunes cartoon extended their partnership to the big screen with Warner Bros. 1996 film Space Jam. 23 years later the two icons rekindle Hare Jordan with the release of the Air Jordan 7 Retro 'Hare' just as it originally appeared back in '92. The sneaker features a White/True Red-Light Silver-Tourmaline colorway mixed with white leather and off-white nubuck. Along with the shoe Jordan Brand and Warner Bros. will release apparel and promotional items stemming from the original campaign, like the re-imagined Michael Jordan "Wings" poster and Hare Jordan pin set documented by Sole Collector above.
