Building off the success of his well received B4.DA.$$ debut album, Pro Era head man Joey Bada$$ delivers the Goods with new music. "Perception VS Reality" comes as social commentary that is relatable to many who are judged by irrelevant qualities rather than their character. Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell - Peaches N Cream /
After his stint as Snoop Lion, the D-O-Double-G is back and better than ever. The proof comes courtesy of his latest track, "Peaches N Cream" that is set to appear on his forthcoming album Bush that he and Pharrell Williams have been teasing for quite some time now. "Peaches N Cream" is noteworthy not only because it is the first single to release from the album, but it also delivers a neo-disco, G-Funk vibe that you can trace back to the 80s and 90s with George Clinton; point being: your parents will love this song. This dose of funk is a product of Pharrell's masterful production work (he is also the executive producer of Bush) and melodies from R&B legend Charlie Wilson, marking the second time this trio has injected G-Funk into the mainstream, the first being "Beautiful". Bush releases May 12 and is available for Pre-order here, enjoy it below.
Tunji Ige - Day2Day (Eagle Remix) /
Philadelphia rapper Tunji Ige has been a favorite of ours ever since we heard his mixtape, The Love Project. Tracks like "The Ex Song" and "For Us" have appeared on our VibeRotation playlists due to the Philly product's soothing, versatile, and melodious flows along with a singing voice that is rather welcoming. His abilities are easily paired with the EDM and neo-house movements, which is why this remix of Tunji's "Day2Day" by another Philadelphia native, Eagle, is so noteworthy. According to the DJ and producer's SoundCloud Eagle is inspired by "Tha booty", taking from Jersey club music, New Orleans bounce, and heavy bass sounds that gets the booty shaking. Bounce and funk are certainly present in Baby Eagle's latest remix available below, enjoy.
B3 featuring Jaquáe and Wilx - Important /
Rising Tennessee rapper and Division 1 lacrosse player Betchley III, or as you may know him, B3 has dropped off his recent single to his forthcoming mixtape, Section B3. After his last cut, "Turnip", the new "Important" comes with a trap charged beat produced by Sonic Legion and confident bars from B3 proclaiming if you have not already heard of him, you are about to. Also, prominent up and coming New York City rapper Jaquáe and Wilx join the Tennessee native for ample features. Section B3 is dropping right before summer, until then listen to "Important" below and under OfficeVibes.
